I passed this exam today with 987. Dump is valid, all questions were for dump.
Commands regarding simulation are different but the concept is the same.

Dump is 100% valid. Even the data in the lab questions is not changed from dump.
The only thing incorrect in the dump is the commands used for the lab questions. In the dump, the answers specify IOS commands, whereas in the exam I used IOS-XR commands (as noted in the topology - ASR-9K).
Commands used for L3VPN (MPLS VPN):
show vrf all
show vrf
show ipv4 vrf
show route vrf
show bgp vpnv4 unicast
Commands used for L2VPN (VPLS):
show l2vpn xconnect detail
show l2vpn xconnect neighbor
These are all the commands you need to get the info to answer the questions. Make sure you execute them on a real IOS-XR router, or get examples of these commands' output from Internet, so you know in advance where to look for the required info in the output.
