Solution says

How can we know the IP address of port of RouterC if we are not allowed to use CLI of RouterC. Even the IP address of RouterC's port is not shown on the lab diagram.

The dump 191 is valid, I passed the 19th march. Labs AAA, LACP, HSRP Sim and Drag and Drop CDP / LLDP.
The dumps 191q is totally valid. I passed the exam yesterday. Were 3 labs AAA dot1x, HSRP and LACP, in this last one the command switch trunk native vlan 99 worked perfectly and you need to configure it in both switches. At the end is possible ping to 192.168.1.1 if you configure it has default gateway on switch B .Good luck!!!

Took the exam today -passed, 191 dumps are valid.
FYI,
Just ignore the ip default gateway on SW A and SW B in LACP lab.
The lab already had Vlan 1 IP configured on SW B even tho’ the question states it needs to be configured!
I just followed the procedure provided here for this lab and all worked and I was able to PING the router IP from SW B.
Dot1x lab – did not use drop command as I felt it is not needed and the interface already had switchport access vlan 20 configured.
But i still believe we need to tweak some of the configs in LACP STP lab to get 100%, but hey at the end of the day I passed and in real life it’s different and if you do NOT understand the requirement you an always ask in real life unlike the exam, so if you are not confident in trying out different things in the exam just follow the procedure outlined here and you will pass, as some have stated negating wrongly typed commands screws the simulator!!!

I have the Galvin, JVD and the dump questions files. All this files are vlaid but JVD and files have some mistakes answers marked as a right one. In my opinion most valid is Galvin file. Also I used detailed simulation instructions as well as packet tracer files for them. Lab instructions and PT labs are available for download on 9tut.com website (CCNP Switch Section). Good luck :).

I just took the exam today almost all questions were there ...
from my point of view if you do lot of pratice you wouldn t have any problem.
In my case : Be careful if you type any command you can t remove it with (no commd) some severs you can run copy r s to save your work others you can't, also you can't go backward
there's just 40 qsts if u miss a few of them you'll fail !!!

dumps 191 dump version are valid.
simulation in exam was lacp stp and dot1x.
Note:1)the interface range command didnot work on sims.don't know why.so had to manually assign command to each interface.
2)the ipaddress is already assigned to vlan 1 on switchB dont know why they ask to configure it.

I did not understood what kind of link they are speaking about.
You have configured a vtp server switch with vlans 1030 and 1040. But none of the vtp clients dont see this vlans in vtp advertizement. What is the cause for this issure!
The only two answeres that make sence are:
1another vtp vercion must be configured
2there is another vtp server with higher revision number on the network.
I have chosen the first answere
It will be highly appreciated.
So for the bad news first. I spent 100.00 bucks for the 193Q ete updated, and pdf, and not a single question of the updated one was there. There were about 16 questions, + 3 sims but you can find these on the Galvin ETE.
For the good news, I passed 834/1000;

HSRP questions and show commands - I answered these the same as the first time i took them and didn't focus much on the dump as this one was easy.
dot1x - same as dump however, last time i took it forgot about dot1x which I think is what caused me to fail.
Switch Company Sim
This is the sim that I deviated from the Dump. For a couple of reasons.
1. the exam stated vlan 1 has to be tagged as well. If we only do the trunk, then vlan 1 would be sent untagged.
2. the first time I was thinking of ISL, until the other switch a didn't support it, then i looked at switchA's config and realized that the native vlan was different so I changed it to be switchA to be the same. however in the task it didn't inform me to do it, and spent a lot of cycles on trying to do switchport encapsulation command and then had to rush to the other questions due to time. This time I configured it the same as last time and used dot1q and used switchport trunk native vlan xx cant remember it.
questions that I remember

- I put later 3 - they had layer 2- 5
2. Layer 2 etherchannel has been configured - where would you put the ip address?
- With this one how can a l2 etherchannel have an ip address?
- so I picked put the ip address on the portchannel.
3. what is the minimum dhcp snooping bindings?
this was the same question i received last time. However i read it as maximum (probably due to me rushing for time)
- the maximum dhcp snooping bindings are 2000, but the minimum would have to be 1000 the other answers didn't make sense as they had 5K, 8k and 10K.
4. Drag and Drop
The new drag and drop was CDP vs LLDP;

I took the exam today and Failed :( I agree with Austyl that quarter of the questions were not present in the dumps. In exam total 40 questions were there. More than 10 questions were out of galvin dumps and dumps.
However I successfully attempted the LACP-STP and DotlX lab. Only these two labs were came in my exam.

I passed the exam 300-115 today in jeddah saudi arabia. All the questions were from 191Q.pdf file from actual tests. The labs are very much same but one must do labs carefully as there were some minor tricks to test the concept of the students which is good in my view. Best of luck all of you.

Be careful in the labs values can be different, for example, the radius server 172.120.40.46, instead of 172.120.39.46, respectively I used
radius-server host 172.120.40.46 key rad123. Lab LACP-STP completely solved as described in certprepare.com Ping 192.168.1.1 was successful,
do not forget look "sh int br" To make sure that the interface Po1 is Up.

HSRP lab was identical to dumps.
VTPv3 lab was similar also.
AAA sim was the same (i didn’t configure 2nd line with action Drop at the access-map)
LACP sim was OK, but make sure you’ve check again and again that every port got your configuration correctly and reconfigure until it show in the ‘show run’ command
take in care that you cannot save any of your configuration at any sim !!! best thing is to write this in the comment window.
*** i think about 10 Question from the exam ware slight different then those in the dumps.

The Sim had been updated a bit.
It was asked to enable VTP pruning on FA0/3-4 but you can't do it because VTP PRUNING is not available in the sim.
So when under VTP you not see the command pruning then ignore the task.

I failed the other day with 760.
I thought i did well and was surprised i did not pass. I felt i know my switching too. :-( I think it was just the labs. In the LACP lab. I never added the new vlans to the original switch B or pinged from the new switch to the router. I thought about it in the test but just didn't. Had a fair bit of time left at the end too.
I think that and a few other odd questions lost me the test, so make sure to configure on both sided of those links, even though the questions are a bit leading into thinking you dont need too.

No its not correct answer. If you look at
Sh vtp status on SW1 and SW2 you will see Primary ID and Primary Description as SW1 that says that SW1 is Primary server. (VTPv3 has concept of primary and secondary server)

Even the question does not ask anything about vlan 99. dont go by the answer provided on the certprepare lab. try to understand the concept.

I did the exam yesterday 1pm in KSA and passed with 895.

I would 100% surely every questions from JVD 164 and Galvin 158. In gakvin all the questions and answers are correct and in JVD 43 to 53( nearly 10 questions) wrong, but cross check with the galvin as galvin is 100 corrct.
Additionally there are some extra questions in JVD (158 to 164 = 6Questions) and those are very important as i got almost everything from there. Please find 5 of them below (1 question was same as in galvin)

Cleared exam today. Dumps are still valid.
For LACP SIM; configure the vlan's 21,22,23 on Switch A. remove the existing configuration from fa0/3 & 4. The default int command dosen't work.
Then add the therchannel configuration on fa0/3 & 4 . do all the trunking and allowed vlan configuration on po1 only.
The vtp status for Sw A is transparent so need to do that on Sw B as well and change the spanning tree mode to rapid pvst on Sw B.
The port channel should come up pretty soon. Int range command works well and is very handy.

Hey liu, don't remember the options or Sequence it's not a best practice, as i get few in same sequence because i remember the answers.
Best you can do read question and understand it well, then memorize the answer this will work for you in exam.
Do labs very carefully in exam during, prepare steps for your better understanding but For your information labs are same as certprepare so relax and go for exam once you done all questions.

If you are failing, it is because you dont understand the concepts, and probably failing at the labs.
If you memorize dump and dont understand the material, you will probably fail, but dump is valid all the way, and its the only one you need to study.
Oh and the new questions for JvD. Out of the 36 questions, all 6 were on the test, so make sure you study that too.

I had passed route. Only 5 days were left before expiration. Route was fun and there were many things to practice on gns3 etc. Switch is really boring, all theory and memorizing. I tried to study switch several times, but at last I could start a few days ago.

This is my second try.
Guys if you have any doubt regarding any command's bug or error immediately report it to Cisco support then they will investigate & if your problem is true they will give you a free voucher to apply .that what happened with me I applied second time free.
I had a problem with AAAdot1x!!!
I wanted to remove vlan access-map but "no vlan access-map" command was not functioning what really confused me & collapsed my answer then I failed. Just make sure you write & save a comment about certain command & issue.
Today also I didn't get full mark I don why but the good thing i passed finally.

Layer 2 I'm not sure If the problem with the LACP lab or there is wrong multiple choice answers but I think I answered typical with dumps.
In LACP lab I have one doubt about native vlan, I created vlan 99 & configure it as native which is maybe wrong. I think the question is telling vlans 1, 21-23 should be tagged so vlan 1 it might should be tagged with command : "dot1q tag native " but im not sure it just came to my mind in the exam but I didn't apply it because actually I am not sure of the 2 answers.

I got these labs HSRP hotspot, Ferris, AAA Dot1x, LACP with STP. Be aware that labs do not save your config so don't waste your time there. Also try to master all the multiple choice questions because there is definitely something wrong with the labs otherwise I would have scored more than this. However, best of luck and try to write your exam asap as I have heard Cisco is going to update the exam questions.

Messed up something in the L2 switching part and I am guessing with the LACP lab.
Was able to ping the switch management interfaces but the port channel was not showing up on Switch B. All the interfaces in the port channel were also showing down even though the show etherchannel command showed that it was active and could see the neighboring ports and the mac address of the neighboring switch.

Labs: You won’t be able to save your config with “copy run start” or “wr” so don’t worry it’s normal. I lost many time on that but got 100% without saving
AAAdot1x: This lab is very easy and it ok in the dump just the ip addreses could change.
LACP with STP: Something is wrong with this sim even if the config is ok for the etherchannel the trunk won’t work until you shut/no shut and config the int directly instead of the portchannel.
VTPv3: same as dump
HSRP Hotspot (ferris): same as dump

For the LACP WITH STP lab I used the command interface range f0/9 - 10
switchport access vlan x , switchport mode access and spanning-tree portfast and it didn't aplly the command for f0/9 only and not for f0/10
I had to apply each command for each seperate interfaces (switchport access vlan x , switchport mode access and spanning-tree portfast command)
Same goes for port-channel 1, the command switchport mode trunk, didn't apply for al interfaces that where in the etherchannel.
I apllied the command switchport mode trunk for each interface int etherchannel.

Looking at the options and reading up BPDU Guard is enabled on Access ports and prevents another switch from forming a trunk on that port.
If enabled then port will go into an error disabled state hence no traffic will pass. Tested this on x2 Cisco 2950's
BPDu Filter will still allow another switch to participate and let traffic flow.
I passed exam with 790 marks, min required were 790 :p. Pheww... please wait for some days before planning to appear for this exam. As of now only 36 questions were asked in this exam.

There are some bug in LACP with STP lab while I configured. The trunk port ether-channel was not form on switch A. I have to deleted configure in fa0/3 – 4 on both switch and re-configure again. I guess the problem is, I didn’t create the portchannel on both switch before join the fa0/3-4 to the channel-group.
This problem took my time about 45 minutes to resolved. but I still got 1000/1000 points anyway. ^-^

I think this is 'A. Spanning-tree portfast bpdufilter default'. I think this because BPDUfilter is the only that that stops port from actually sending BPDUs. BPDUguard still sends BPDU but shuts down port if it hears any back, and I don't know what the other command does.
Does this sound right?

I did the exam yesterday 1pm in frankfurt and passed with 853.
I would 100% surely every questions from JVD 164 and Galvin 158. In gakvin all the questions and answers are correct and in JVD 43 to 53( nearly 10 questions) wrong, but cross check with the galvin as galvin is 100 corrct.
Additionally there are some extra questions in JVD (158 to 164 = 6Questions) anf those are very very important as i got almost every thing from there. please find 5 of them below (1 question was same as in galvin)

i've got a question: in the dump there are some "labs" with multiple choise answers. is it "enought" to knwo the correct multiple choice answer or is it needed to use the consoles for the answers? also, how many "none multiple choice" labs are in the dump alltogether?
