Ask the provider about the actual selected service\u2019s availability and documentation, then test permitted and denied requests against the configuration that would be deployed.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"use-a-decision-matrix-rather-than-a-cloud-war-winner\">Use a decision matrix rather than naming a winner<\/h2>\n<p>A lightweight decision matrix should distinguish hard requirements from preferences. A high score is a planning aid, not a guarantee that real costs or latency will match a spreadsheet.<\/p>\n<p>The 2020 comparison remains interesting as history: it shows why market dominance, startup promotion and feature counts attracted attention at the time.
